History:
The Salem China Company, located in Salem, Ohio was founded by Patrick and John McNicol, Daniel Cronin, and William Smith in 1898. Production began in 1899. The pottery was purchased by F. A. Sebring and Floyd W. McKee in 1918. The facotory stopped manufacturing wares in 1967. Part of the buildings that housed Salem China Factory burned down in 2003.
