History: Homer Laughlin was started by brothers in the late 1800s in East Liverpool, Ohio. It is the maker of the famous FiestaWare as well as many other lines of china and pottery. It is the last-standing US pottery company that is still in production. It is a family-run, multi-generational family employer and a maker of some of the highest quality family of dinnerware. The Hall china company, also an old time pottery in the US, joined forces with Homer Laughlin under the name HLC to manufacture its single fire, sturdy completer pieces.
The uniquely beautiful robin's egg blue is such a beautiful color. This bit of historical Homer Laughlin china would have graced the dinner table of the modern woman of the 1960s.
